Players Gon Play
Ashanti did what all of the girls should do if in a similar situation:
1. Young girl meets Rich & Powerful Guy. She may or may not have a physical attraction to him but he undoubtedly has a physical attraction to her.
2. Young girl agrees to a covert sexual relationship with Powerful & Rich Guy and along the way ensures that he enhances her life through access. Young girl may develop emotional feelings for said guy but understands he has a wife and within a monogamous framework she’d never be #1 in his life (to be honest his wife isn’t even #1 but that’s another conversation). Her EMOTIONS should never override how she can benefit from this dynamic.
3. Powerful & Rich guy falls in love with Young girl because he respects how she "plays by his rules" (doesn't reveal their relationship to the public, is obedient to his sexual/personal needs, operates as his fun & free space...often he is reminded of the woman he truly desires to be with).
4. Young Girl gets the access, the acclaim, and enough EQUITY to forge her independence. The Powerful & Rich guy remains her benefactor but she prefers a relationship with a single, attractive, successful man without all of that BAGGAGE.
5. Indirectly the Young girl begins to pull away from Powerful & Rich Guy as she nurtures her new relationship. She understands that eventually the Powerful & Rich Guy will find out but the power is more balanced, he can be her #2 and abide by the same rules she has or not, the world is now her oyster.
6. Her new man may work out for some time but every relationship doesn't have to end in marriage. She stays for as long as it's good and when it isn't she accepts it and moves on. The positive is that she has reached a certain financial status and doesn't have to rely on any man to be her benefactor.
7. Whole time the powerful & rich Guy is seething because he craves CONTROL. To those that idolize him, he always gets his way. Not this time. He can take a loss in doing business, it’s expected. But with women? Never. He sees the young girl as a penny with a hole in it. He MADE her. How dare she?
8. powerful & rich Guy is willing to blow up his foundational woman and family in pursuit of things that prop up his ego. Of course, he can get another young girl looking to be saved but SHE is not HER.
9. Young Girl denies powerful & rich guy ALL ACCESS to her. In a rage, he’s said some foul things about her. Even attempted to stop her bag. But Young Girl studied the game, she always finds a way to come out on TOP.
10.powerful & rich Guy has to sit with his internal INEPTITUDE. Secretly he mourns the relationship he once had with the young girl. He is committed to slandering her however possible. But hopefully (he’s even prayed bout it) she’ll come back to him because he really LOVE that girl.
